The Second Book of Inspirational Poetry byIrene Beales

Oh what blessed thought
As we travel the desert road,
Knowing that when it pleases Him
There we'll find
"An Oasis for thirsty souls".
A place for rest and refreshment,
Wholesome food cooked to a turn.
The comfort of a warm clean bed -
A cosy fire which brightly burns.
But more than that - there's soul food
In the love and laughter echoing thro,
As we share with each other the joy -
Of a Saviour and life anew.
'Tis a hallowed place this Oasis,
Reaching out an invitation afar -
And you'll find it at "Bienvenue"
On the outskirts of "Waipawa".
